Within Technology & Transformation, the Global Offerings Strategic Projects Lead is a shared strategic lead role that works directly with Global Offering Portfolio Chief of Staff and the broader Global Offering Portfolio leadership team to deliver against global portfolio and offerings strategies, priorities and day-to-day operations. The role reports into and provides operational leverage for the Global Offering Portfolio Chief of Staff.

Overview of the role

The professional will act as a strategic enabler and advisor to the Offering Leader, driving executive decision making. They will enable global leaders to make strategic decisions that translates into marketplace impact and growth. The professional will help accelerate execution of our strategic agenda by delivering high impact strategic projects, simplifying and streamlining operations (reporting, PMO activities etc.), creating compelling and transparent leadership communications to solve the most complex challenges in exponentially powerful ways.

Work you’ll do

The professional will work with colleagues and senior leaders across Global Engineering, AI & Data practice. They will need to develop knowledge of the firm’s Consulting Services business and its strategic priorities to enable sharing of insights, trends, and appropriate escalation of issues or variances. The professional will identify new opportunities, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, lead and coach a team of junior practitioners, and communicate proactively with stakeholders. They will be required to demonstrate project management skills and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure global alignment around strategic priorities. The team's projects are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligned to the strategic priorities of the Global firm and Portfolio and Offerings leadership. Projects often involve collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment.

Key responsibilities

The following describes specific areas of focus for the Global Offerings Strategic Projects Lead (SPL):

·   Shape and execute on Offering strategy and priorities

·   Shape and execute identified Portfolio focus area end-to-end

·   Enable and maintain relationships with Offering and initiatives leadership to ensure relevance of strategic initiatives in regions and key geographies

·   Track and coordinate portfolio of priority programs and investments across the Offering and initiatives

·   Drive communication and build networks across Offering/Portfolio leadership team, design, plan and run leadership meetings

·   Coordinate and input into global Offering and identified focus areas marketing activities and investments including eminence agenda, campaigns, channel activity, analyst relations, etc.

·   Support regions and sectors in the development of pursuit and go-to-market strategies across the Offering portfolio

·   Develop and manage Offering pursuit strategies and go-to-market activities such as opportunity identification, pipeline tracking, sales support, and deal capture Operations Management

·   Coordinate and manage core Offering team to deliver on strategic and operational activities

·   Work with Offering Leader and cross-Offering Portfolio leadership to confirm and deliver on Offering annual financial plan and KPI’s

·   Executive communication skills and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages for the audience

·   Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and adept at pre-emptively identifying potential challenges, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing them.

·   Strong client-service mindset with an enthusiasm for embracing dynamic and demanding projects

·   Capable of responding quickly to high priority deadlines and ability to easily adapt to a change in direction

·   Experience with staff development and eagerness to mentor junior practitioners 

·   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teaming skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence superiors and peers in a large and complex global organization

·   Advanced project management skills and demonstrated experience successfully managing a team

·   Experience in financial analysis and data analytics (MS Excel), with the ability to identify innovative tools and approaches to enhance reporting and insight generation for the business

·   Strong storyboarding to prepare executive ready materials

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing

We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. 

·   Academic qualification: Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience working in a matrixed, multi-national or global organization; Masters' degree a plus

·   Minimum of 5 years' experience in roles that require strong internal consulting skills

·   Current career level of a Senior Consultant or Manager

·   Work experience: 10-13 years of relevant experience

·   Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms

·   Location: Hyderabad

·   Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones 

·   Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with different time zones)

·   Hybrid working: The individual is expected to come to the base location office at least 2 days a week as per the hybrid plan
