Assistant Manager– ETL QA- Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The QA Engineer is an individual-contributor position providing specialized technical knowledge and expertise to the master data management area and its services. The person in this role will be applying strategic and analytical skills to create value to the Global organization implementing technological solutions related to Master Data Management (MDM). The role is focused in the execution of functional and non-functional testing throughout the entire development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

With 6-8 years of hands-on experience leveraging the following skills.

• Generate test plans, test cases, automation test scripts and execute functional and non-functional IT Quality Assurance testing as part of software development processes

• Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing with business and external technical stakeholders.

• Support development and testing activities, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the entire development cycle.

• Develop and conduct group/end user training

• Contribute to creation and optimization of test automation

• Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases.

• Lead structured walkthroughs related to testing approach and results.

• Provide input and help in the generation of technical user guides, operational documentation and support scripts

General skills:

• Analytically and detail oriented. Experience in problem-solving to complex problem, working along with team members

• Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, frameworks, and methodologies

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to multi-task and take ownership and accountability for his/her work

• Willingness to ask questions, challenge status-quo and seek out answers independently

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong systematic troubleshooting skills.

• Great organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at once

• Proactive and self-motivated professional

• Ability to work independently and engage stakeholders in a distributed team environment. Experienced in interactions with remote teams

• Ability to master concepts quickly, adapt to changing requirements and deal with ambiguity without impacting delivery

• Results oriented. Ability to focus on delivering meaningful impact towards organizational goals with self-drive to make a difference and seeing things thru until reaching desired objectives.

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical acumen in data management functions, specifically master data management, data quality and data governance

• Demonstrated experience in developing Test Automation scripts using TOSCA

• Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and waterfall.

• Expert in SQL using Microsoft and Oracle relational databases

• Functional knowledge on Informatica MDM is highly preferable

• Familiar with API Testing. Experience with SOAP UI is a plus

• Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint

• Functional knowledge of QA Tools and BA methodologies. Familiarity with Azure DevOps is desirable

• Experience with ETL solutions and Perl testing is a nice to have

Experience:

• 3+ years of IT Experience in testing, and a minimum of 1+ years in Test Auomation using TOSCA

• 1+ years working experience in data management, data products, or ETL tools

• People management experience in an on-shore/off-shore environment

• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in test automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology

• 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.
