Work you’ll do:
As the Cyber Remediation Engineer (CRE) you will problem solve and perform tasks to drive cyber risk reduction at Deloitte. The CRE entails driving the closure of global cyber risk remediation projects by collaborating with project delivery processes, partnering with member firm SMEs, and project reporting. The CRE will be familiar with risk mitigation strategies including working with colleagues in technical service teams and cyber security control functions. As part of the Global Cybersecurity function you will:
- Receive high risk, technical findings and translate into simplified, meaningful remediation tasks for internal stakeholders to comprehend
- Establish and execute risk mitigation plans and partner with internal stakeholders to reduce risk
- Overcome delivery challenges, including but not limited to; priority conflicts, business versus technology perspective, resource availability and engagement
- Monitor and report on risk findings and remediation resolution including development and execution of corrective action plans
- Analyze, update, and modify procedures and processes to identify and continuously implement Remediation Team process improvements
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the cyber risk management field

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a service management or information technology-related field
- 2 years of Information Security, or project delivery experience
- Experience in management of vulnerability and/or risk remediation
- Working familiarity with risk assessments and threat models
- Specific knowledge of and experience with applicable concepts and methodologies such as continuous quality improvement
- Communication of technology issues to both technical and leadership personnel and negotiate to a mutually beneficial conclusion
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and other business-related software systems
- Skills to assess and monitor vendor risk and follow vendor risk management policy
- Experience with ServiceNow or another industry standard enterprise ticket management offering
- Strong knowledge of and experience with information security across all domains
Preferred:
- Experience working with Cyber Risk
- Experience problem solving complex cybersecurity issues
- Security Risk certifications are a bonus (CISA, CRMA, CCSP, CISM, etc.)
- GIAC certifications beneficial
- Familiarity with application, server, and network security is preferred
