As an Accounts Payable SME, providing expert-level guidance on accounts payable processes and strategies. Overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable function, serving as a key resource for complex problem resolution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounts payable, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to support and guide juniors and new team members in the process.

Key Responsibilities:

"Invoice Processing, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Verify invoice details, such as quantities, prices, and terms, and ensure proper authorization.
Well versed with PO and NPO invoice processing.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth transactions.
Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Verify receipts and reconcile expense claims with supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Provide necessary documentation and reports for financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and best practices in accounts payable.
Plan and train new joiners and share timely feedback with respective trainee.
Support team on address their process queries
Ensure to update the SOP's, Process Flows, Checklist…etc and other process trackers.
Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues and complex problem resolution.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and Root cause analysis
Qualifications & Skills required.
Should have 6-8 yrs experience P2P Process
B. Com, BBA or similar 3-year graduate course
CA Inter, ACS, ICWA, or similar 4-year master’s course such as M. Com, MBA (Finance)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills - MUST
Experience with accounting software and systems eg: PeopleSoft, Oracle etc_ MUST
Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
