ROLE

Level: Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing pipelines and planning the deployment of the code to various environments as part of large-scale software solutions at enterprise level. You will work with functional and technical teams on the project located across shores independently leading and mentoring junior team members, collaborating to understand the functional requirements and translate them into work products. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of the project from estimations, planning, execution and tracking metrics for analysis.

The work you will do includes:

• Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements and the impact on the overall solution

• Prepare technical architecture and design; help shape requirements; and resolve ambiguities

• Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects

• Establish technical design/development guides, templates and standards and ensure compliance

• Run the daily calls / scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership

• Perform detailed reviews on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members

• Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams

• Design templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• 6-10+ years+ years of hands-on experience <mention technologies and architecture> in Java J2EE, JavaScript, Spring

• Both hands-on and team lead experience in configuration, customization, and implementation of <> enterprise applications in Java J2EE

• Experienced in Spring MVC, Springboot, Angular JS

• Experienced in SQL / Hands-on work on Stored Procedures

• Experienced in Kafka, Tibco RV and MQ

• Experience in software development methodologies like Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall

• Experience in version control tools such as TFS, SVN, Git

• Understanding of Unix/Linux and DevOps processes

• Understanding of Jira and Bitbucket

• Communicate clearly across teams in the project with good interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in working in a client-facing role

• Ability to perform estimation of work products

• Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas

• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

• Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban)

• Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem solving, analytical including effective interpersonal skills

Good to Have:

• Understanding of Banking domain. including commercial banking, loan origination system and treasury management

• Experience in working in a client-facing role

• Experience in Data migration

• Understanding of Jira and Bitbucket

• Understanding of FIX, FpML

• Experienced in Ansible, Jenkins, Junit, and Cucumber

• Advanced Java certifications. In Java

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Prior Experience:

6 -– 10+ years of experience working with Java J2EE 5+, JavaScript, Spring MVC, Springboot, Angular JS, SQL.

Location:

Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai.
