ROLE
Level: Analyst/Consultant
As an Analyst or Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
You will also be responsible for the ownership of tasks assigned through SNOW, Dashboard, Order forms etc.
The work you will do includes:
- · Build and operate automations using ansible, Bash, and Python scripting.
- · Develop understanding of and implement shared responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Project Experience:
Must Have:
4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in RedHat OCP with DevOps
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Red Hat OpenShift.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Integrate various tools and services into the CI/CD pipeline to enhance functionality and performance.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Ensure that infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure.
- Implement and manage configuration management solutions for OpenShift environments.
Monitoring and Logging:
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of OpenShift clusters.
- Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Set up alerting mechanisms to proactively address potential issues.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide support for containerized applications.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of OpenShift with existing systems.
- Provide training and support to team members on OpenShift and DevOps best practices.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for containerized environments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Manage role-based access control (RBAC) within OpenShift.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve the CI/CD processes and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and container orchestration.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to the improvement of incident response processes.
Good to Have:
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar.
Education:
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Prior Experience:
4 – 5 years of experience working with Linux Servers deployed on Virtual, Cloud and Physical environments
