Level: Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for design, development and deployment of complex application or modules as part of large-scale software solutions at enterprise level. You will work with functional and technical teams on the project located across shores independently leading and mentoring junior team members, collaborating to understand the functional requirements and translate them into work products. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of your work products from estimations, planning, execution and tracking metrics for analysis.

The work you will do includes:

· Hands-on development and delivery experience on Unemployment Insurance (UI) .NET Framework and solutions.

· Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements and the impact of integration on the overall business architecture

· Prepare technical architecture and design; help shape requirements; resolve ambiguities and provide estimations

· Develop solutions following established technical design, integration application development standards and quality processes in projects

· Establish technical design/development guides, templates and standards and ensure compliance

· Run the daily calls / scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership

· Perform detailed reviews on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members

· Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams

· Design templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operational functions

· Lead small to mid-sized modules and/or teams

Skills / Project Experience:

· Hands-on development and delivery experience on Unemployment Insurance (UI) .NET Framework and solutions.

· Candidate should have experience on any of these:

o UI Benefits system – Should have hands-on experience working on business logic implementation for these core modules - Monetary, Payment, Over-payment, Non-Monetary, Charging, and Appeals.

o UI Tax system - Should have hands-on experience working on business logic implementation for these core modules - Wage Submissions, Wage Adjustment, Experience Rating/Transfer, Payment, Payment Adjustment, Field Audits, and Reports.

· Should have good experience around UI Database Design & Modeling.

· Should have experience on writing integrated unit test cases between various UI modules.

· Experience with leading a development team on one or more of the core modules.

Must Have:

· 6 – 10 years of hands-on experience in full stack application development using .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular/React, Web APIs

· Experienced in code quality tools like SonarLint, SonarQube, ESLint, and unit testing frameworks/tools like NUnit, xUnit, MSTest

· Experience in software development methodologies like Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall Experience in version control tools such as TFS, SVN, Git Experience in Application Life cycle management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps server

· Good coding, debugging and problem-solving skills in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL, to implement scalable and efficient solutions

· Experience in Development, testing, and maintenance of programming environments and architectural standards

· Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project with good interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to perform estimation of work products

· Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas

· Knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Office tools

· Experience with agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban)

Good to Have:

· Good knowledge and working experience on any of the leading Cloud hyperscalers (AWS/Azure/GCP).

· Any advanced level Cloud certification

· Foundational to Advanced Cloud certification [DP1]

· Any agile certification (Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master)

· Knowledge of basic design patterns that enable business problem-solving at scale

· Knowledge of SQL Query Optimization techniques

· Experience in building cloud-based solutions/services on a public cloud like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

· Understanding of code and application security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or Veracode

· Experience in handling security, privacy, and compliance-related processes

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Prior Experience:

6 - 10 years of experience working with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Angular/React, JavaScript, Web API, SQL
