Position Summary

Senior, Tax Technology Services

We are looking for a professional with experience in SAP tax technology solutions to support complex client transformation programs. In this role, you will help design and implement SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions that enable more efficient tax operations and reporting. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to align technology design with business and tax requirements while contributing to project delivery, solution development, and team growth.

Work you'll do

As a Senior, Tax Technology Services on the Tax Management Consulting team, you will be responsible for…

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of SAP PaPM and SAP Analytics Cloud solutions based on client business and tax requirements
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, evaluate current-state processes and systems, and document functional specifications for future-state solution design
  • Build and enhance SAC dashboards, stories, analytics applications, and data models using scripting and visualization capabilities
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, technology teams, and project teams to support testing, deployment, and integration across the broader solution landscape
  • Contribute to project delivery by managing workstreams, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting junior team members on solution development activities

The team

Tax Management Consulting works with organizations to improve and modernize tax operations through the combination of tax domain knowledge, process transformation, and technology-enabled solutions. The team supports clients across complex tax and finance environments by helping design, implement, and optimize tools that improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting. This role is aligned to Deloitte India’s support of Deloitte Tax LLP service offerings.

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon

Shift Timings: Regular business hours

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience delivering SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) implementations
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including dashboards, analytics applications, and scripting
  • Experience with SAP HANA, SQL Script, SAP Business Warehouse, BW/4HANA, or SAP HANA Studio
  • Experience gathering business requirements, defining functional specifications, and supporting testing and deployment activities

Preferred:

  • Master of Business Administration, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent advanced qualification
  • Experience with 3 end-to-end SAP Analytics Cloud implementations
  • Experience with SAC live and import data models
  • Experience building complex SAC stories using linked analysis, input controls, calculated measures, aggregation, and threshold functionality
  • Experience with SAC security, administration, and model or dimension-level permissions
  • Experience with SAP tax configuration, including tax procedures, tax codes, access sequences, condition records, and intercompany tax configuration
