SAP FI-DRC - Tax Technology Services Consultant II

Work you'll do
As a Tax Technology Services Consultant II on the Tax Technology Consulting team, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the implementation of statutory reporting solutions in SAP environments
- Supporting the implementation of e-invoicing solutions for client tax and finance operations
- Gathering business and functional requirements from clients and translating them into implementation support activities
- Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to support solution design, testing, and deployment
- Contributing to SAP finance transformation initiatives involving financial posting processes and tax-related operational requirements

Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting team helps organizations align tax, finance, and technology to support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The team works with clients to design and implement technology-enabled solutions across tax reporting, process transformation, and SAP-led modernization initiatives. Professionals in this practice collaborate across tax, finance, and technology functions to help clients address complex business and compliance needs.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, or participation in 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Experience supporting global template preparation and rollout activities
- Experience configuring or supporting SAP Finance (FI) processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Electronic Bank Statement, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders
- Experience supporting Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Order to Cash processes
- Experience working with SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and integration with Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM)
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience supporting change requests, enhancements, or functional improvements in SAP Finance and Controlling environments
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions
- Experience with statutory reporting and e-invoicing implementations
- Experience with European Union tax business processes
- Experience gathering business requirements and working with multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience supporting SAP Finance and Controlling initiatives as an individual contributor or team lead
