As a Consultant in Deloitte’s Data and Digital Trust practice, you will support the implementation and integration of privacy technology solutions that help organizations manage regulatory requirements, strengthen data governance, and enable trusted business outcomes. You will work across platform configuration, systems integration, testing, and deployment activities while collaborating with client, vendor, and cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to privacy-by-design initiatives, AI governance efforts, and scalable technology implementations in a dynamic consulting environment.
Work you'll do
As a Data Privacy -Tech - Consultant on the Data and Digital Trust team, you will be responsible for:
- Configure, integrate, test, and deploy privacy platform modules, including data subject access requests, consent and preference management, records of processing activities and data mapping, privacy impact assessments, incident response, and third-party risk workflows.
- Build and troubleshoot integrations between privacy platforms and enterprise systems using application programming interfaces, and support data exchange and workflow orchestration activities.
- Support privacy-by-design efforts through data flow mapping, personally identifiable information and protected health information classification, and implementation of privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Contribute to artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence governance activities, including model intake, dataset minimization, risk triage, and controls documentation.
- Execute Agile delivery activities, including backlog support, story testing, release readiness, and post-go-live stabilization with client and vendor teams.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in technology delivery, systems integration, or platform implementation
- Experience with representational state transfer application programming interfaces, API testing tools such as Postman, structured query language or NoSQL concepts, and scripting for automation or integrations using JavaScript or Python
- Experience implementing or administering at least one privacy platform module, such as data subject access requests or consent management, and integrating privacy tools with enterprise systems
- Experience creating technical documentation such as runbooks or administrator guides
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
Preferred:
- Experience with privacy platforms such as OneTrust, BigID, WireWheel, or Securiti.ai
- Experience with records of processing activities, data protection impact assessments, privacy impact assessments, incident response, or third-party risk workflows
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies and privacy-by-design approaches in engineering workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture concepts
- Certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional, Certified Information Privacy Technologist, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or Agile/Scrum certifications
