As a Consultant on the Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for…
- Conduct technology resilience risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, technical risks, and potential single points of failure
- Support the design and implementation of cyber resilience, disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity solutions
- Design, build, and maintain isolated recovery environments and support recovery of critical systems and workloads
- Assess infrastructure, application, database, network, and cloud environments to improve resilience architecture and recovery readiness
- Support recovery testing, simulation exercises, runbook development, and client readiness activities across resilience programs

Cyber Defense & Resilience teams help clients defend against sophisticated threats by transforming security operations, leveraging technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence for continuous monitoring and rapid incident response. They manage dynamic attack surfaces and support business continuity through services such as operational resilience, crisis and incident response, and security operations center transformation.
Resilience as a Practice focuses on preparing organizations to anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruptions—including cyberattacks, natural disasters, and operational failures—by embedding resilience into processes, technology, and culture. Deloitte’s Resilience Team combines technical, operational, and strategic expertise to deliver integrated solutions for business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk management, ensuring organizations meet regulatory demands and maintain stakeholder trust during crises.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience with infrastructure architecture, application architecture, or both across on-premises and cloud environments
- Experience with backup, recovery, or data protection tools such as Cohesity, Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, or Dell PowerProtect Data Manager
- Experience designing, implementing, or managing cloud solutions across at least two major cloud service providers
- Experience gathering technical requirements, performing gap analysis, developing technical specifications, and supporting large-scale solution architecture
- Experience with network segmentation, virtual local area networks (VLANs), firewall policy management, or isolated recovery environments
- Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800.53, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- Experience with cyber resilience, technology resilience, business continuity, or disaster recovery programs
- Experience with immutable storage, backup validation, and recovery testing processes
- Experience with data center operations, infrastructure components, and facilities environments
- Experience managing or monitoring Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ISO 22301, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Experience with resilience and recovery tools such as BC in the Cloud (BCIC), Everbridge, Rubrik, or Commvault
