Deloitte USI Consulting Services is looking for experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultants with proven hands-on expertise in at least one full ERP implementation project.
Summary
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical practitioner at Deloitte USI Consulting Services, you will design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale D365 F&O technical solutions spanning across custom development, integrations, data migrations, and reporting collaborating with cross-functional and global teams to translate client functional and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and high-quality deliverables. You will independently manage your technical workstream responsibilities while guiding and mentoring junior team members, bringing structure and expertise to every stage of the engagement. Your role spans the full project lifecycle from estimation and planning through build, testing, cutover, and post go-live support ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions that meet client needs and project delivery standards.
Work you'll do
You will lead technical integrations, reports, data migrations, and system extensions analyzing client needs and designing, building, configuring, testing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations solutions. You will manage activities across the full engagement, from requirements gathering through post go-live support, overseeing testing, deployment, and status reporting while establishing best practices that drive quality and reuse. You will proactively collaborate with project teammates, contribute innovative solutions, debug and troubleshooting technical issues, and manage client and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
Qualifications Section
- 4+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) technical roles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O technical tools and capabilities, including SSRS, X++, C#, Business Event Framework, Web Services, Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake, Power Platform, Data Management Framework (DMF), Workflows, Reporting, Integration patterns such as file based, dual-write, virtual entities, & OData, to design, build, test, and deploy technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience in at least one end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP implementation project in a technical role. Multiple full life cycle implementations are preferred and expected for more experienced candidates.
- Proficient with integration tools and data entities, with the ability to translate functional and integration requirements into robust, scalable technical designs. Understanding of batch processing and experience in developing enhancements.
- Experience in leading design discussions and owning solutioning using Microsoft Dynamics 365 tools. Understanding of Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management, Azure DevOps for source control, build pipelines, CI/CD automation and familiarity with the cloud environments.
- Understanding of Security Architecture including roles, duties, privileges, and permission sets. Ability to design and implement custom security roles is an added advantage.
- Create and maintain technical design documents in line with delivery standards. Conduct unit testing, support test cycles and address technical defects.
- Experience with data migrations and ETL processes is preferred and would be an added advantage.
- Coordinate with Client IT and boundary systems for end-to-end testing and cutover activities.
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Mentor junior consultants and review their technical deliverables.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with mature judgement.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Hands-on or experience with Copilot Agents and AI-driven extensions within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience working with Dataverse for data modeling, integration, and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
