Deloitte’s Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) team plays a crucial and growing role in helping the firm achieve its Multi-Disciplinary Model (MDM) objectives. EPM is seeking a high performing Analyst for a highly visible team working with senior business, industry, and account leaders to help modernize the Firm’s management of its third-party relationships to support critical MDM agility. The position sits in Growth & Purpose as part of the EPM team and is part of the larger Office of MDM that reports to the Chief Growth & Purpose Officer and business CEOs. The role offers a unique opportunity to help operationalize a new capability aimed at enabling Deloitte’s three world-class businesses to thrive.

EPM is a “heart of the business” multi-function, integrated team that brings deep MDM insights to tackle some of the firm’s most complex challenges. EPM’s mandate is to optimize our business footprint and unlock revenue by effectively navigating cross-business conflicts and Independence constraints while reducing MDM tension. Optimization requires EPM to proactively inform our business leaders on MDM implications for strategy and investment considerations, as well as vision to see beyond the firm’s current state to influence and optimize for our business of tomorrow.

Work You'll Do

·       Manage third-party risk data and processes: Execute and oversee data entry, verification, and maintenance of third-party engagement records in Deloitte’s compliance systems. Check internal independence systems for restricted entities information and ensure data accuracy and completeness through regular audits. Facilitate renewals and timely closure or withdrawal of third-party records, collaborate with risk groups and engagement teams to support accurate and compliant recordkeeping throughout the third-party lifecycle.

·       Support implementation of the MBR Modernization: MBR Modernization has been created to segment Deloitte’s go-to-market relationships with third parties to identify and elevate those relationships that are most strategic to the firm. As part of this exciting initiative, you will support Consulting Growth’s operationalization of this new centralized capability to bring better visibility to Deloitte’s sell-with relationships and ultimately accelerate growth.

·       Activate the new MBR operating model: Assist with supporting new processes and protocols to bring the newly established MBR operating model to life. This includes but is not limited to gathering information about Deloitte’s relationships to confirm segmentation for the firm’s relationships with third parties, identify and establish Relationship Owners for all entities Deloitte has MBRs with, engage LCSPs to drive cross-business awareness, and ensure appropriate signaling in Deloitte’s internal systems.

·       Engage with business teams: Connect with various stakeholders across the firm to support the navigation of third-party relationships throughout the lifecycle – from initial sensing and early-stage MBR discussions through the establishment of highly-strategic relationships (Alliances, Tech Relationships, etc.).

·       Enable firm-wide visibility and accountability: Manage a high-volume of MBR data and related information in various firm systems and maintain accuracy throughout the MBR lifecycle to enable teams across the network to better understand the scope and significance of Deloitte’s relationship with third parties.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Comfort navigating internal business systems and tools.

·       Tolerance for ambiguity and a “figure it out along the way” mindset.

·       Ability to effectively communicate with peers, internal leadership, and vendors.

·       Eagerness to learn and build knowledge quickly.

 

Required Skills:

·     1–3 years of relevant professional experience, including consulting, client service, or project/program management.

·     Postgraduate degree or MBA in finance or a related field.

·     Highly collaborative mindset and working style; ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.

·     Strong English written and oral communication skills.

·     Excellent data management, documentation, and reporting skills with high attention to detail; ability to document information accurately in the applicable Deloitte system(s).

·     Strong research skills and familiarity with common research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg); ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.

·     Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to database tools and analytics applications is a plus.

·     Understanding of Independence requirements for a professional services/audit firm is a plus.

·     Commitment to onboarding and professional training without significant/extended disruption in the first 6 months.

 

Qualifications:

Postgraduate/MBA Finance or related field

 

Location: Hyderabad

Work Timing: 11-8 PM IST (with some level of flexibility on three days every week)
