Senior Analyst- Financial Controllership - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Work you’ll do: The Role is for the financial controllership process full-time, working closely with the USI team. This role will cover driving financial close excellence, provide financial analysis, enabling executive decision making, modeling and forecasting and championing best practices.
The key job responsibilities include the following:
· Month-End and Period Close Activities: Own end-to-end month and period close responsibilities including financial statement analysis, preparation of period-end adjustments (accruals, prepaids, deferrals), and timely submission of reports as per the close calendar.
· Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze management reports, variance analyses, and dashboards, delivering meaningful insights on business performance against key KPIs and strategic goals.
· Complex Financial Modeling: Partner in the development and maintenance of complex financial models to facilitate informed, data-driven decisions.
· Business Support & Process Improvement: Work closely with business partners, supporting various project initiatives, conducting KPI and trend analysis, and supporting the planning and annual budgeting cycles.
· Standardization & Enhancement: Identify, recommend, and support process enhancements to drive efficiency, standardization, and automation.
· Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Liaise regularly with onshore teams to clarify anomalies, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the highest quality and accuracy of deliverables.

Shift Timings: 11 am – 8 pm
The Financial Controllership team is the backbone of the organization’s financial integrity and regulatory compliance. This high-performing group is entrusted with safeguarding the accuracy of financial records, meeting external and internal reporting requirements, and providing actionable insights that drive business growth.
Team conducts variance analysis to show management how the budget and/or rolling forecast compares against actual performance. Also provide detailed Key Performance Indicator dashboards to the stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving and decision-making skills
- Minimum 2 years to maximum of 6 years’ experience in financial reporting/ accounting with quick learning skills
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Experience with financial modelling and corporate reporting tools is an advantage
Preferred:
- Experience in Finance domain is necessary
- Experience with SAP S4 and Analysis for Office would be extremely advantageous
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Advanced excel, PowerPoint a must)
- Experience in financial budgeting & forecasting.
- Variance Analysis skills
- Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Big 4 experience preferred
