Analyst- Engagement Finance Support - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Engagement Finance Support team is comprised of professionals specializing in project and account operations serving as a focal point for aspects of engagement, program, and account management control. This team provides engagement management knowledge for the entire project management team(s) by assisting with initiating and controlling organization and logistical aspects of projects. Their greatest value, however, is in the understanding and application of engagement business and financial processes, both to individual projects and to client accounts.

The key job responsibilities include the following:
As an Analyst, EFS you are a point of contact for the project teams and thus fulfil a key role for our project administration. You are an expert advisor when it comes to the guidelines and processes surrounding the project administration and act as a sparring partner for the practice about financial issues around customers and projects.
On any given assignment, as an Analyst for EFS, you may be responsible for the following activities:
- Perform day-to-day contract management activities.
- Contract Administration. Provide guidance to project team on the financial components of a client code and manage document storage.
- Set-up & Maintenance client codes. Create client codes in the financial system once all pre-requisites are met and create engagement financial trackers.
- Perform various financial analyses such as reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Track expenditures and manage client bill and receivable collection functions.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the overall EFS team through active involvement in one or more practice initiatives.
- Set up value added calls with Practice after detailed analysis of their respective engagements.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM – 8 PM
The team
The Shared Services team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in the North South Europe with a wide variety of capabilities like financial reporting, HR and financial transaction processing, administrative service and helpdesk support, marketing and IT services.
Qualifications
Required:
· Business Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics & carrying a working experience of up to 3 years in the same domain.
· Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
· Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience working with a variety of contracting types (e.g., time and materials, fixed price) and billing scenarios.
· Experience developing project pricing models and performing scenario analysis.
· Experience with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
· Experience in Finance domain is a must.
Preferred:
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
- Experience on financial budgeting & forecasting.
- Variance Analysis skills.
