Senior Analyst- Accounts Payables - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
As a Senior Analyst in Accounts Payables, you will support the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and account reconciliations for the Middle East member firm. Your role includes assisting with month-end close activities, resolving basic queries from stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures. You will contribute to process improvements and may assist with ad-hoc requests or reporting as needed.
Work you’ll do
The key job responsibilities include the following:
- 1.Accounts Payable Processing & Quality Assurance
- Accurately process vendor invoices and payments in line with company policies and quality standards.
- Validate invoices, purchase orders, and support documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Oversee the payment cycle, ensuring prompt and error-free payments to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements to account balances; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update accounts payable for aging reports and related documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing and validating payable records.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS).
- Prepare and provide documentation required for internal and external audits.
- Maintain comprehensive records for all accounts payable transactions to support transparency and compliance.
- Serve as a primary contact for vendor payment queries, delivering timely and professional resolutions.
- Build positive relationships with vendors by managing disputes and supporting prompt communications.
- Leverage accounting software and ERP systems to enhance accounts payable efficiency and data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to system enhancement initiatives.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
The team
The F&BO team at Hyderabad supports the Deloitte organization in North South Europe with a wide variety of capabilities like financial reporting, HR and financial transaction processing, administrative service and helpdesk support, marketing, and IT services.
Qualifications & Experience Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 Years of experience in AP/AR teams.
- Proven experience in accounts receivables and payables management, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and trends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., D365) is a plus.
