Job Description: Strategic Initiatives Manager
Overview
The Strategic Initiatives Manager will be responsible for the reporting and quality control teams within GFS Expense Compliance. This role involves developing and refining quality control procedures for expense auditing, identifying trends, managing expense-related metrics reporting (such as business, expense type, vendor, and adjustments), and effectively communicating findings to leadership.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for Expense Compliance audit processes.
- Conduct and oversee regular audits to ensure adherence to expense policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and control requirements.
- Communicate audit findings and insights to relevant leadership.
Reporting and Data Analysis
- Prepare comprehensive reports on Expense Compliance audits, expense submissions, and other ad hoc analyses.
- Develop and enhance dashboards to monitor progress and identify trends.
- Collaborate with teams to collect, track, and analyze data and metrics.
Communication and Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and enhance processes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Communicate quality performance and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
- Stay informed on the latest best practices in quality management and reporting.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement teams.
Supervision and Leadership
- Oversee the Reporting and Quality Control teams.
- Supervise team members, providing guidance on their processes and responsibilities
- Develop and implement ongoing training and development plans for team members.

Technical Skills/Tools: Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation; Tableau or Power BI: proficiency for creating interactive dashboards and visualizing; SharePoint: For document management and sharing.
Education: University degree / masters preferred.
Experience: 8 + relevant experience is required
Shift timing: 10:30AM to 7:30PM
