Job Description: Strategic Initiatives – Quality Control Assistant Manager
Overview
The Quality Control Assistant Manager will be responsible for the quality control teams while supporting the Strategic Initiative Manager within GFS Expense Compliance. This role involves developing and refining quality control procedures for expense auditing, identifying trends, managing workload and providing related metrics reporting, and effectively communicating findings to leadership.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for Expense Compliance audit processes.
 - Conduct and oversee regular audits to ensure adherence to expense policies and identify areas for improvement.
 - Ensure compliance with established quality standards and control requirements.
 - Communicate audit findings and insights to relevant leadership.
 - Develop and enhance dashboards to monitor progress and identify trends.
 - Collaborate with teams to collect, track, and analyze data and metrics.
 
Communication and Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and enhance processes.
 - Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures.
 - Communicate quality performance and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
 
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
 - Stay informed on the latest best practices in quality management and reporting.
 - Lead or participate in quality improvement teams.
 
Supervision and Leadership
- Support the Strategic Initiative Manage by providing oversight of the Quality Control teams.
 - Supervise team members, providing guidance on their processes and responsibilities
 - Develop and implement ongoing training and development plans for team members.

They must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with professionals at all levels. The ability to motivate a team, especially under tight deadlines and quick turnaround requests, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Technical Skills/Tools: Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation; Tableau or Power BI: proficiency for creating interactive dashboards and visualizing; SharePoint: For document management and sharing.
Education: University degree / masters preferred.
