Assistant Manager— Growth & Purpose (G&P) Enabling Area, Finance & Administration Enabling Area Business Partner, US MF

We are looking for a high performing professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver a variety of recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses.

Work you’ll do

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Understands financials to provide insight and analysis to business leaders
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of reporting guidelines, including governance of the parent client hierarchy reporting structure and Private Equity complex tracking.
  • Perform value-added analysis on periodic results, including (but not limited to):
  • ·       Drivers of revenue/profit growth
  • ·       Areas of concern that warrant leadership action planning
  • ·       Root cause analysis and recommendations on identified issues or detected trends

Service Delivery:

  • Promote and drive demand for our services by providing the information and analysis that support the business requirements for information and insight
  • Support/lead initiatives and efforts to increase both the Finance and business leaders’ understanding of business performance and opportunities
  • Drive a variety of time-sensitive activities, working across teams to gather necessary inputs and develop /maintain summaries, executive communications and dashboards
  • Manage processes and shared sites, including process documentation and improvement
  • Use business, financial reporting, and analytical expertise to manage complex special projects and deliverables for leadership
  • Continuously innovate by identifying opportunities to improve our processes, tools, and reports

Relationship Management:

  • Develop trust-based relationships with our finance business partners and other internal clients
  • Demonstrate ownership of relationships and projects
  • Ability to credentialize yourself as a PEI expert that others call upon for advice, guidance, counsel, and insight
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to craft and tailor the message to the audience
  • Engage with Global Shared Services teams as needed to develop and deliver innovative solutions
  • Foster a collaborative culture based on teamwork

Shift timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The team
This management role sits on the G&P Enabling Areas team which is part of the Finance & Administration (F&A) Enabling Areas Business Partner Team.  This team is made up of analytical, financial, and reporting experts that align reporting with the strategic priorities of our businesses, enabling areas and business leaders. The G&P Enabling Areas team brings deep subject matter expertise and collaborates across teams to develop reporting solutions that provide actionable insights and analytics across various key cohorts, programs, and strategic priorities and provide our internal clients and leaders with the consumable information and insight they need to drive better business decisions and address challenges.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • MBA preferred, with 6-8 years of experience in finance operations
  • High performing individual with demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
  • Problem solving skills
  • Project management
  • Creative thought generation
  • Reporting solution development
  • Business process improvement
  • Data analysis and analytical / data modeling techniques
  • Provides exceptional client service by responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, and integrity

Capability and Skills Requirements:

  • Proven experience with information management and relational data concepts
  • Ability to research and analyze data from internal and external sources
  • Possess strong communications, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to work within a virtual team in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Self-motivated with ability to identify and complete projects without continual supervision
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and timelines

Technology or Other Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
  • Knowledge of the firm’s financial systems (HANA/AO, SAP) and ServiceNow
  • Experience with Tableau is helpful
