Analyst – US India Finance- - Deloitte Consulting India Private Limited

We are looking for professionals with strong finance and accounting skills, who want to make a career in the field of financial reporting.

Work you’ll do As a part of this team, you will be:

  • Preparation and recording of accounting entries in the SAP, for period, month end,Quarter end and yearend activities (both Management and India statutory books), alongwith necessary annexures and supporting documents to be appended in SAP
  • Period end accruals for operating costs incurred and invoices not accounted
  • Accounting of payroll, AIP and other fringe costs (Gratuity, Leave, PSRIP, EDLI andPF admin costs) and other employee related costs
  • Amortization of prepaid Insurance and other costs.
  • Support on computation and preparation of USI SSOH allocations costs within USIlegal entities.
  • Support on computation and preparations of USI Monthly Statutory Invoices (Costs+TP markup)
  • Provide/collate information for Finance related compliance activities
  • Preparing reconciliations of various account balances
  • Support on preparation of draft financial statements and assisting the Manager withnecessary annexures and supporting workings for statutory audit
  • Provide support on creation of reports and ledger extracts for various audits – Internalaudit, statutory audit and tax audit
  • Co-ordinate with other teams for collation and reconciliation of information forstatutory financials.
  • Preparation of debit notes
  • Preparation of Statements of Assets and Liabilities for filing with Reserve Bank of India
  • Recording and reversal of payroll related accrual entries
  • Clearing of Inter – Company GL’s
  • Control checks for accounting and reversal entries
  • Preparation of expense trend analysis
  • Review of open PO entries for statutory financials close.
  • Review of Opening Balances for statutory financials

Treasury

  • Preparation of daily bank reconciliation statements though Host to Host and monitor the un assigned line items.
  • Review of bank account transactions
  • Prepare and upload bank payment templates
  • Co-ordinate with signatories for authorization of the bank transactions
  • Co-ordinate with other teams for timely payment of statutory dues
  • Maintain the documentation of statutory payments
  • Co-ordinate with statutory auditors for Form 15CA and CB for all overseas staff and vendor payments including the Biweekly Salary payments for US and MF expats on secondment to USI.
  • Co-ordinate with the bank for opening and cancellation of term deposits
  • Coordinate with the bank issuance of New /renewal of Bank guarantees.
  • Preparation of schedule for audit – Movement in Long term/short term deposits
  • Reviewing of NEFT reports
  • Reconciliation of salary payouts
  • Preparation of Cash Forecast
  • Preparation/reconciliation/reversal of interest accrual entries
  • Reconciliation of interest income with Form 16A and recording of true up entries
  • Providing and supporting the information for various audits (Statutory audit, Tax audit and Internal audits)
  • Providing treasury activities related information for quarterly dash board preparations
  • Capturing of information as per the Foreign inward remittances certificate (FIRC’s)
  • All correspondences with bank pertaining to KYC’s and other requirements.
Accounts receivable

  • Preparation of accounts receivable billing
  • Recording of BDM sales
  • Form 26 AS reconciliation for tax withholdings on domestic billings
  • Providing AR related information for data for quarterly dash board preparations
  • Preparation of Billing of payroll related client reimbursable costs – Deputation allowance, Awards, and Shift allowances.
  • Clearing and billing of NON- DTE client billable expenses from GL 23406100
  • Accounting and reporting of payments received from Deloitte India
  • Billing of shift allowances
  • Responding to service desk queries
  • Provide data for statutory audit and tax audits
  • Accounting of DTE related transactions
  • Bi weekly and periodic MIS on the receivables from the Domestic customers.

Compliance:

  • Accounting of Provident Fund related entries for Expats
  • Corporate Social Reporting (CSR) reconciliation, accounting and reporting
  • Support to firms taxes team with information for GST reporting’s – segment/ category wise GST receivable and payables, for both Domestic and cross border transactions.
  • Preparation/collation of information for non-payroll related tax withholdings
  • Support for statutory audit with information on statutory compliances handled by our team
  • Quarterly Tax withholding reporting as required by the Income tax act and comply with the issuance of providing the tax with-holding certificates to the vendors.
  • Provide information and analysis for dash board reporting and tax filings
  • Maintaining and co-ordination with US for expat related information pertaining to their compliances in India.
  • Provide support for preparation of information for financial statements disclosure
  • Co-ordinate with Deloitte India for tax deduction/filing of expats on secondment to USI.

STPI related compliances:

  • Support on documentation for the monthly Softex submissions by entity and by location across USI offices.
  • Post receipt of certified Softex certificates, support on documentation for submission to the bankers for endorsement of exports against FIRC’s.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Management Accountants (CMA) with 0-2 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards & regulatory compliances.
  • Must have very good knowledge of MS Applications like MS Word, MS Excel and MSPowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates a healthy level of professional skepticism.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and data analytical techniques will be an added advantage.
  • Integrity and high ethical standards and commitment to data privacy.
  • Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 9 PM
