USI Financial Reporting – Senior Analyst
The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting period-end and year-end financial reporting, accounts receivable activities, and compliance-related processes across USI entities. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across reporting, reconciliations, audit support, statutory requirements, and stakeholder coordination. The individual will work closely with internal teams, tax teams, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders, and should be proficient in SAP and financial reporting processes.

Work you’ll do
Responsible for supporting financial reporting, accounts receivable, compliance, reconciliations, and statutory reporting activities, including:
Reporting
- Prepare and record accounting entries in SAP for period-end, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities for both management books and India statutory books, along with required annexures and supporting documents.
- Record period-end accruals for operating costs incurred and invoices not yet accounted for.
- Account for payroll, AIP, fringe benefits, and other employee-related costs including gratuity, leave, PSRIP, EDLI, PF administration costs, and related expenses.
- Process amortization of prepaid insurance and other prepaid costs.
- Support computation and preparation of USI SSOH allocation costs across USI legal entities.
- Support computation and preparation of monthly statutory invoices, including cost plus transfer pricing markup.
- Provide and collate information for finance-related compliance activities.
- Prepare reconciliations for various account balances and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support preparation of draft financial statements and assist the Manager with annexures and supporting workings for statutory audit.
- Generate reports and ledger extracts for internal audit, statutory audit, and tax audit requirements.
- Coordinate with other teams for collation and reconciliation of information required for statutory financial statements.
- Prepare debit notes and statements of assets and liabilities for filing with the Reserve Bank of India.
- Record and reverse payroll-related accrual entries and clear inter-company GL balances.
- Perform control checks for accounting entries and reversals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare expense trend analysis and review open PO entries and opening balances for statutory financial close.
Accounts Receivable
- Prepare accounts receivable billing and record BDM sales transactions.
- Perform Form 26AS reconciliation for tax withholdings on domestic billings.
- Provide AR-related information for quarterly dashboard preparation and periodic MIS reporting.
- Prepare billing for payroll-related client reimbursable costs including deputation allowance, awards, and shift allowances.
- Clear and bill non-DTE client billable expenses from the relevant GL accounts.
- Account for and report payments received from Deloitte India.
- Respond to service desk queries and provide AR-related support for statutory and tax audits.
- Account for DTE-related transactions and prepare bi-weekly and periodic MIS on receivables from domestic customers.
Compliance
- Account for Provident Fund-related entries for expats.
- Perform CSR reconciliation, accounting, and reporting activities.
- Support the tax team with information required for GST reporting, including segment/category-wise GST receivables and payables for domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Prepare and collate information for non-payroll related tax withholdings.
- Support statutory audits with information related to statutory compliance activities managed by the team.
- Support quarterly tax withholding reporting in compliance with the Income Tax Act and issuance of withholding tax certificates to vendors.
- Provide information and analysis for dashboard reporting and tax filings.
- Maintain and coordinate with US teams on expat-related compliance information in India.
- Support preparation of information required for financial statement disclosures.
- Coordinate with Deloitte India for tax deduction and filing support for expats on secondment to USI.
- Support STPI-related compliances, including documentation for monthly Softex submissions by entity and location, and preparation of documentation for submission to bankers for export endorsement against FIRCs after receipt of certified Softex certificates.
Qualifications
· Required: Chartered Accountant (CA)/CPA/CMA with 3 + years of experience
