Finance Systems Testing Senior (USI)

The team

Finance Systems serves as US finance application portfolio subject matter experts, to implement and manage innovative solutions and changes through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm.

The work you will do

Finance Systems is looking for a Senior to join the Testing team. The testing initiatives cover a wide range of finance applications. In this role you will liaise with multiple stakeholders to execute testing of fixes and / or new capabilities, communicate findings, and manage incident tracking to resolution. You will work in a highly visible environment in close relationships with technical experts and end-users.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather test requirements, develop test scripts, and ensure tests are current and reflective of business processes
  • Plan for, organize, and execute the testing of fixes and / or new capabilities
  • Communicate testing outcomes / findings to stakeholders
  • Support the stability, availability, and performance of finance systems by performing analysis to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop a deep understanding of applications within the Finance System portfolio
  • Leverage leading technology to execute an efficient test process

Qualifications and requirements:                                 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related IT/Finance discipline; or equivalent experience  
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on testing experience  
  • Excellent written and conversational communication skills
  • Ability to work and achieve results — with minimal supervision — in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment (across multiple time zones); ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust, and confidence with key stakeholders
  • Experience in collaborating with teams in a professional services or large matrixed company
  • Experience with supportive finance applications a plus
  • Experience with SAP a plus
