USI Deputy Manager, Operate, Assets and Other Business Models COE

The team and the role

The FP&A organization supports our business, market and enabling area leaders by providing world class financial support. FP&A is made up of advisors who are influential in decision-making and partner with finance leaders to drive meaningful strategic and financial outcomes.

Within FP&A, the COE teams define and drive leading practices and provide subject matter guidance across the firm, partnering with operational FP&A teams to maximize value and insight delivered to the business. The Operate + COE team provides insights and frameworks to enable operate, assets and other business models. They also partner with stakeholders to create insightful financials that inform leadership decisions and ensure there is consistency across the firm. Specific responsibilities and qualifications for the USI Deputy Manager role are outlined below.

Work you’ll do

Core responsibilities

  • Explain, present, and analyze the financial performance of the business
  • Be a data expert and drive meaningful, actionable insights; gain deep understanding of Operate+ businesses and engagements

·       Collaborate with other teams and individuals (e.g., Finance Business Partners, GFS R&A, etc.) to ensure coordinated and seamless support to the business leaders as we initiate the new Operations Talent Model  and other Operate+ initiatives

  • Deliver timely financial reporting and analytics to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities, specifically for the new Operation Talent Model
  • Own and deliver a variety of ad hoc analyses and projects to deliver complex data requests, including acting as SME to support development of new tools
  • Support ad hoc analyses across businesses and teams and partner closely with the FP&A Business Partners including National Office, and Parent organizations
  • Support FP&A leaders to successfully implement the business strategy and help business achieve its strategic objectives
  • Participate in firm’s planning and forecasting processes, and help develop metrics to monitor the performance against those objectives
  • Continuously improve FP&A’s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by leading internal change initiatives

Technology or Other Requirements

  • Extensive experience effectively utilizing financial systems for operations, financial analysis, and data extraction
  • Advanced / expertise in Excel and PowerPoint and firm financial applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Actively teams with others and has strong communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems:  SAP, BPC, Essbase, etc.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timing: 2pm to 11pm IST
