USI NSE supporting Leadership & Operations Hub – Manager
The Manager in the Leadership and Operations Hub will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating project management activities to support Partners and Directors. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Manager will ensure that projects align with strategic goals and are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership and Oversight:
· Lead and manage the execution of projects delivered from the Project Management Hub.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
· Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Stakeholder Communication:
· Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, Partners, and Directors.
· Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
· Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and presentations to leadership.
Resource Management:
o Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
o Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance.
o Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and development of project team members.
Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
o Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
o Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, and reports.
o Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
o Track and report on project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Training and Development:
o Provide training and support to project team members on project management tools and techniques.
o Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
o Stay current with industry trends and advancements in project management.
Strategic Alignment:
o Ensure projects align with the organization's strategic objectives and goals.
o Support Partners and Directors in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
o Assist in the development and implementation of PMO policies and procedures.

- Accountability in stakeholder management for hub deliverables, coordinating with team members (if required by project) and ensuring superior product quality and completion of ongoing projects within stipulated timelines.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience in project management, operations management, upward communications, consulting role, preferably in a global organization.
- Technical Skills:
o High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Word applications.Knowledge and working experience in other analysis tools like MS Access, MS Excel (macros), Tableau, PowerBI, R, and Python will be an added advantage.
o PMP accreditation/experience would be a bonus.
o Conduct ad-hoc discrete programme management tasks and strategic analyses as required by NSEC stakeholders.
o Keep abreast of NSE strategy and external trends to ensure content remains relevant, with input from NSE Executive teams and internal SMEs.
