Analyst- USI Financial System Validations(FSV) - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Work you will do

As an Analyst in USI supporting GFS, you will focus on following areas:

·       Responsible for monitoring controls in SAP, Hana, and CostPoint to balance key financial information.

·       Monitor and report issues to Finance leaders to ensure awareness when there are reporting issues

·       Reconcile SAP to Costpoint to ensure GPS (Federal) data interfaces accurately between the two systems

·       Work with Internal Control and Internal Audit teams to validate controls, procedures and processes to ensure time flows from DTE to GL and to the reporting systems as well as SAP to Costpoint

·       Must conduct analysis of daily problems for trends and take steps to avoid recurrence.

·       Provide business process production support.

·       Coordinate and implement new or improved standardized processes.  

·       Assist in the documenting and monitoring of internal controls, process improvements, and educating various stakeholders.

 The team

The Financial System Validations (FSV) team is responsible for establishing and monitoring all controls around revenue and receivables.  This includes daily, weekly and periodic processes to ensure the complex data flow between systems is accurate and complete.  This effort involves; overseeing various SAP jobs, analyzing systems to identify reconciling differences, and serving as a liaison for the business and IT groups.  The FSV team also provides value to the US Firms’ Finance organization by assuring system data used for business analytics is accurate and reliable by performing functional testing between SAP, CostPoint, and HANA sidecar systems.

Qualifications and experience required:

1.    Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent accounting experience.

2.    1 to 3 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting.

3.    Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access

4.    Knowledge of SAP or equivalent major ERP software package.

5.    Good analytical abilities and attention to detail.

6.    Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written

7.    Good analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Location – Hyderabad, India

·       Normal Business hours – 11 AM to 8 PM (IST)
