As a Senior, Tax Services, you will contribute to employment tax compliance, reporting, technical research, and client delivery activities for a leading UK practice. As a Senior, Tax Services on the Kolkata Reward team, you will be responsible for…
- Preparation and submission of UK Forms P11D, including calculations of benefit in kind values according to the UK tax legislation
- Preparation and submission of UK Construction Industry Scheme Forms (CIS300) following a standardized approach
- Preparation and submission of UK PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA), including carrying out data analysis in excel and using Deloitte’s in-house software
- Preparation of employment taxes technical advice, including tax technical research and drafting advice emails
- Joining calls with our clients to deliver employment taxes advice
- Assistance with coordinating global employment taxes projects, including liaison with employment taxes colleagues globally; monitoring client information, including client work status and client contact details; and assistance with management of client accounts, take on procedures and billing analysis

We are looking for a tax consultant to join our successful and expanding Kolkata Reward team to support our UK Employment Taxes practice, which is the largest of its kind in the UK.
Location: Kolkata
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Full time master’s degree in finance or equivalent from reputed University
- 3-5 years of experience of working in a corporate environment
- A high level of IT user ability
- Specifically, a high level of experience with Microsoft Excel, including use of formulae such as ‘VLOOKUP’
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Excellent administration and organizational skills, with the ability to work unsupervised within agreed processes, multi-task and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Pro-active and able to take ownership of delivering projects

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level
- Solid analytical aptitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good personal organizational skills and commitment to customer service
- Aptitude for learning technology, systems and processes
- Ability to exercise effective judgement and decision making
- Existing tax qualifications (including ATT and/or CTA qualifications) is highly desirable
