Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting practice is seeking a Tax Consultant II to support clients as they modernize and improve their tax operations. In this role, you will help translate tax and business requirements into technology-enabled solutions that improve compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency. As a Tax Consultant II on the Tax Technology Consulting team, you will be responsible for…
- Supporting the delivery of tax technology and tax transformation projects for clients across industries
- Gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, process, and system requirements for tax-related initiatives
- Assisting with configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities for tax technology solutions
- Preparing data analyses, reconciliations, and reporting outputs to support project objectives and client needs
- Collaborating with tax, technology, and client stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities

The team brings together specialized experience to help clients improve efficiency, manage risk, and enhance the performance of their tax departments.
Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai/Pune/Gurugram/Chennai/Kolkata
Shift Timings: 10 AM to 7 PM or 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Economics
- 2+ years of experience in tax technology, tax operations, tax transformation, or tax process support
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with data, reporting, or automation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
- Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, or functional specifications
- Experience supporting testing, validation, or implementation activities for technology or process-change projects
Preferred:
- Experience with tax applications such as OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, or CorpTax
- Experience on tax transformation, ERP, or finance transformation projects
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across tax, finance, and technology
- Experience with workflow or automation tools such as Power Automate or Power Apps
- Chartered Accountant, MBA, M.Com, or comparable postgraduate qualification
