An exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to be part of the transformation of the Global Employer Services (GES) teams in Hyderabad into a 500+ FTE organisation and shape the future delivery model. You will work with the EMEA GES Hyderabad Leader and UK stakeholders to manage and enhance current UK GES operations. Alongside this you will take operational responsibility for one of the key work streams delivered in Hyderabad, work stream process and efficiency oversight and be accountable for overall service delivery of the team (between 20 and 75 FTE).

As a Manager, Tax Services on the EMEA GES Hyderabad team, you will be responsible for…
- Take operational responsibility for a dedicated workstream within the EMEA team in Hyderabad including process and efficiency oversight. Be accountable for workstream service delivery.
- Supervise work stream team members to ensure that quality and service level agreements (SLAs) are maintained. Resolve or escalate any issues as they arise.
- Support the implementation of change initiatives including a Hyderabad talent plan to ensure that work stream team members are developed. Manage onboarding of NL GES work and process enhancement initiatives to improve operational effectiveness within the work stream.
- Build relationships with overseas Member Firm engagement team members and nearshore service managers as well as wider Deloitte Hyderabad leadership. Plan and manage resourcing, training, work allocation and scheduling within the work stream.
- Financial management of work stream activity. Management of work stream materials, user guides and processes to comply with best practice. Monitor and respond to feedback from UK Member Firms to continuously improve services, whilst maintaining consistency across all clients.
- Mentor and coach junior members of staff, support recruitment activity, build a culture of continuous improvement within the team, and understand EMEA engagement team requirements and act as a leader to the team in Hyderabad.

The EMEA Regional Delivery Model (RDM) for Global Employer Services (GES) is being set up in line with our 2020 strategy to establish Deloitte as the undisputed market leader in GES. The RDM will enable EMEA market wins to be highly effective client engagements providing efficient and cost-effective delivery support to UK Member Firms on an on-going basis. The integral part of this delivery model is a consolidated EMEA Hyderabad team that will work in conjunction with nearshore centers in Europe and the European Member Firms.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or equivalent
- 8-12 years of experience in a Big 4 or business process outsourcing/shared service centre
- Experience of working in UK Expatriate Tax
- Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team within a Big 4 or business process outsourcing/shared service centre
- Experience communicating with senior global stakeholders
- Currently operating at Manager or equivalent level
Preferred:
- Experience of operational management, including practice financial management
- Experience of working with other delivery centers
- Experience in transformational or change management projects either internally or for a client
- Experience in direct interaction with clients and/or DTA as required
- Experience in other NL Tax Compliance activities
- Experience reviewing NL Tax individual returns and computations using standard procedures
