Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“USI Tax”) provides professionals the opportunity to support U.S. and international tax practices across a broad global network. As part of the International Accounting & Corporate Income Tax Services (IACTS) team, you will help deliver statutory accounting compliance and corporate tax support across more than 30 countries. In this role, you will work on financial reporting, local GAAP conversions, and statutory filing activities while collaborating with cross-border teams and multinational clients. Work you'll do
As a Tax Consultant II on the International Accounting & Corporate Income Tax Services (IACTS) team, you will be responsible for supporting pan-European statutory accounting compliance and reporting activities.
- Prepare conversions of accounts from management GAAP, including U.S. GAAP or International Financial Reporting Standards, to local GAAP, including preparation of statutory financial statements and support for timely filing.
- Assist clients with centralized and standardized statutory reporting packages using Deloitte tools, including BYG, Wdesk, and Intela.
- Coordinate with local GAAP specialists on country-specific accounting treatments to support compliant local financial statements.
- Work with multinational clients and cross-border teams to identify reporting challenges, assess tax considerations, and support statutory accounting requirements across jurisdictions.
- Analyze journals, trial balances, reconciliations, and other financial data to support reporting accuracy and broader financial statement review activities.
The team
The International Accounting & Corporate Income Tax Services (IACTS) team is a recognized Center of Excellence for pan-European statutory accounting compliance and corporate tax work. Based in Belgium, the team supports businesses with day-to-day financial reporting and compliance needs across multiple jurisdictions. Team members work in a multidisciplinary environment and help clients address complex accounting and tax challenges with practical, high-quality support.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, accountancy, finance, or another financial discipline
- Experience preparing or supporting statutory financial statements
- Experience converting accounts from management GAAP, including U.S. GAAP or International Financial Reporting Standards, to local GAAP
- Experience analyzing journals, trial balances, reconciliations, and other financial data
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards, or a European GAAP
- English language proficiency
- Experience working with multinational stakeholders or cross-border teams
Preferred:
- Experience using BYG, Wdesk, or Intela
- French language proficiency
- Dutch language proficiency
- Experience supporting statutory accounting or compliance activities for European entities
