As a Manager, Tax Services on the USI Tax team, you will be responsible for…
- Manage compensation and payroll activities for globally mobile employees, including payroll inputs, balance sheet administration, and compensation reporting
- Review statements of earnings, cost estimates, gross-up calculations, and payroll data to support accurate reporting and client deliverables
- Coordinate with client contacts, payroll teams, operations teams, and tax compliance teams on payroll start and end dates, shadow payroll, and compensation adjustments
- Reconcile home and host payroll data, identify variances, and drive issue resolution
- Lead team discussions and client meetings, track deliverables, and support escalations related to compensation and payroll matters

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (USI Tax) supports a broad range of Deloitte Tax LLP U.S. service offerings through specialized tax, payroll, and mobility capabilities. The team provides opportunities to work across U.S. and international tax environments, including support for countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
USI Tax helps clients navigate tax transformation through integrated services that combine technology and tax technical experience. The team focuses on supporting reporting requirements, improving visibility into payroll and compensation data, and delivering practical approaches in a complex global environment.
Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Tax
- 7+ years of experience in global mobility compensation, expatriate payroll, shadow payroll, or mobility operations
- 1+ years of experience managing people, workflow, or team deliverables
- Experience preparing or reviewing compensation reports, balance sheets, payroll inputs, or gross-up calculations
- Experience coordinating with payroll teams, tax compliance teams, operations teams, or client stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Preferred:
- Experience supporting global mobility programs for U.S.-based clients
- Experience with home and host payroll coordination
- Experience reconciling compensation and payroll data across multiple sources
- Experience managing client deliverables within service level agreements
- Experience leading client calls, team meetings, or issue resolution activities
