Tax Consultant II – UK USI Private Client Services (PCS)

Our goal is to establish a world-class, self-sufficient team that empowers the UK USI PCS team to deliver high-quality work at competitive prices while fostering individual growth and development. Achieving this vision relies on cultivating leadership within USI. To support our planned financial growth and team development, we are seeking to recruit an experienced tax technical professional. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring we consistently deliver exceptional service.
Your Responsibilities
• Responsible for the preparation of tax returns.
• Play a key role in providing tax services to UK client teams, managing the UK taxation affairs of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), and delivering compliance services for these clients.
• Contribute to enhancing client satisfaction by supporting the design and implementation of efficient processes.
The Team
The UK PCS team operates across various locations in India, specializing in the preparation of UK tax returns for individuals, professional partners, and trustees. Additionally, we handle partnership returns, Trust Accounts, Capital Gains Tax returns, and provide support to the UK engagement team on general ad hoc tax advisory projects. Our team manages end-to-end processes, delivering services to a diverse range of clients across various sectors.
Essentials
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience of tax return preparation in UK PCS.
• Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Pressure Management: Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Task Prioritization: Skilled in prioritizing tasks based on their importance and urgency.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
• Listening Skills: Confident and effective listener.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal relations and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• ATT: Willing to pursue ATT accreditation.
