What you’ll do
As a professional in Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team, you’ll help clients implement and optimize NetSuite-enabled tax capabilities and connected tax applications. You’ll lead delivery teams, own key solution decisions, and advise clients on modernizing the tax processes across the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems – improving compliance, controls, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities (Manager):
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead day-to-day client engagement, managing executive and working-team stakeholders across Tax, Finance, IT, and Operations.
- Establish and run program governance; drive RAID management and timely decision-making to maintain scope, schedule, and quality.
Solution Delivery (NetSuite Tax Integration):
- Own tax-relevant NetSuite solution design across billing, invoicing, procurement, intercompany, and reporting, ensuring controls, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Design and oversee integrations with third-party tax engines/content providers (e.g., Vertex, Avalara, ONESOURCE, SOVOS) and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
Tax Process & Requirements Leadership:
- Translate tax requirements into scalable designs for indirect tax (sales & use, VAT, GST, withholding) and direct-tax touchpoints (operational transfer pricing inputs, state considerations, and provision/reporting data readiness).
- Develop future-state process flows, end-to-end scenarios, and embedded control points to support compliance, reporting, and planning.
Team & Program Management:
Business Development:
· Support pursuits through solutioning, estimates, proposal development, and client presentations; build reusable assets and delivery accelerators.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science or related field NetSuite, Workday, INFOR, SAP, Oracle, ONESOURCE, Vertex, CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other technology related certification (either in process or able/willing to obtain)
- Ability to travel up to 50% based on client needs.
Preferred:
- Experience with other cloud ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Infor) and complex integration landscapes.
