Position Summary
Level: Analyst
As an experienced Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you’ll do:
Design and implement ETL solutions to extract data from diverse sources, apply business rule-based transformations, and load into target data warehouses or databases to be consumed by BlackRock Aladdin. Develop advanced SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Build and maintain robust ETL workflows using industry-standard ETL tools and technologies. Optimize ETL pipelines CI/CD for enhanced performance and scalability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code, adhering to industry standards and ensuring high code quality and coverage, including thorough debugging and issue resolution. Collaborate within Agile delivery teams, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported incidents, and escalate quality concerns or risks to team leads, scrum masters, or project managers as needed. Demonstrate expertise in the full solution lifecycle: including design (both high and low level), development, unit testing, deployment, defect remediation, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 2-4 Years Experienced in developing advanced SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Proficient in following process and coding standards during ETL development, leveraging unit testing tools such as pytest, JUnit, or ETL-specific testing frameworks, while strictly adhering to best practices with tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.
- Skilled in effort estimation, cross-team collaboration
- Solid foundational knowledge in querying databases using SQL across platforms like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong logical reasoning to break down complex problems into smaller parts and implement solutions.
- Strong skills of debugging and resolving issues in ETL processes and BI reports, utilizing monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or relevant ETL log analysis utilities.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Good to have FSI domain Knowledge.
- Good to have knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin with using ETL for Data Quality & Regulatory Compliance Reporting
- Prior Talend ETL tool experience (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, IBM DataStage, etc) for Portfolio management systems, trading platforms, risk analytics modules, custodians, market data vendor
- Good to have knowledge of Aladdin Data Cloud schemas & staging tables
- Good to have cloud based ETL tool Knowledge e.g. ADS, AWS Glue and Lambda, Google Cloud Dataflow
- Demonstrates knowledge of containerization technologies tools in ETL environments e.g. Docker, Podman.
- Demonstrates knowledge Container Management & Orchestration Tools, like Kubernetes, Amazon ECS.
- Understanding of code and application security tools if applicable
- Experienced in app performance monitoring/log aggregation tools if applicable
- Experience with cloud platforms with Real Time analytics & reporting using Snowflake, Databricks etc
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS), BCOM, MBA degree or equivalent from accredited university
