Manager (Assurance Curriculum) – A&A Growth & Development
Overview:
As a Learning and Development Team Manager at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Audit & Assurance Development CoE. You will be responsible for curating, implementing, and managing best-in-class learning solutions tailored to meet the business needs of our teams in the US and international markets. Your strategic vision, coupled with exceptional leadership and analytical skills, will drive innovative and engaging learning practices, fostering a high touch learning culture and enhancing operational efficiencies within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Thinking:
- Collaborate with Audit & Assurance Development CoE teams in the US and international markets, acting as a performance consultant to define and implement sustainable strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research to understand business needs, enabling strategic investments in learning programs.
- Design, develop, contextualize, and deliver end-to-end learning solutions aligned with business outcomes and needs.
2. Program Development and Management:
- Lead the creation and development of diverse learning programs and training experiences for Deloitte personnel.
- Evaluate post-course data and utilize advanced analytics to gain insights into learning consumption, supporting continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of Audit & Assurance learning and development programs in collaboration with Core Talent Delivery Services team.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Invest in team development, mentoring and grooming team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Build positive collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and peers through participation in or leading learning project teams.
4. Budget Management and Vendor Relations:
- Effectively plan, budget, forecast, and manage learning and development investments, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring the selection of the right talent for facilitating topics and maintaining a facilitator pool from the business.
5. Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for learning programs and feedback.
- Leverage relationships with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and deliver effective learning solutions aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Foster a positive team culture by building trusted relationships within and outside the team.
6. Operational Excellence:
- Manage the mandatory curriculum, enhancing it periodically and providing insights on variances between re-forecasts and actual numbers.
- Capture data and metrics for programs within the portfolio, delivering insights and dashboards to leadership on compliance, capability, skill gaps, and learning trends.
- Manage all communication to be sent to USI Audit and Assurance learners, addressing mailbox queries and guiding learners effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience Required: 8-12 years (at least five-six years of related professional experience)
- Proven experience in training needs identification/analysis, vendor management, program/project management, and cross-border stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovative learning practices and enhance operational efficiencies within a large organization.
- Need command over Microsoft Office and able to produce accurate reports.
- Up to 50% of travel could be required based on role responsibilities.
