As a member of our Team, you will work closely with colleagues from various departments and develop your financial and contract management skills. Typical responsibilities include supporting as a financial advisor, assisting with financial reporting & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, compliance, procurement, contractual and security requirements, and contributing to data analytics efforts.
Job Summary:

The Shared Services Center (SSC) is a dynamic team of professionals trained in a variety of capabilities, including Engagement Finance advisory, Account receivables, Reporting, and Reconciliation. Shared Services Center members support mainstream practitioners by handling standardized, and analytical tasks. The SSC also serves as a development platform for campus hires, with a strong emphasis on developing on both technical and soft skill learning to help you grow and succeed in your career.
Work you’ll do
As an Analyst in Shared Services Center Team, you would be responsible for supporting multiple core business teams of Government and Public Services practice by working on diversified activities that include:
• With Strong finance acumen and understanding business requirements and needs, develop a complete understanding of standard process deliverables along with a self-review mechanism for assigned activities. Partake in all training endeavours
• Understand end to end activities of Engagement life cycle of projects from a finance and contracts perspective
• Engage in regular reporting activities for various projects, including budgeting, forecasting, account receivables, vendor management and other contracts related activities or support
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with service offerings within and out of SSC in GPS EA
• Use standard tools and procedures to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality preparation of process deliverables. Work, share and collaborate to identify potential areas of standardization, automation.
• Demonstrate ability to make well-informed decisions and resolve minor issues. Know escalation points of contact
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize work based on deadlines and urgency outlined in the process
• Present and communicate clearly the details of default/owned deliverables
• Engage effectively with teams through active listening and adapt responses as needed. Seek and act on constructive feedback

Qualification & Skills
Required / Preferred:
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or another similar technical discipline
• Internship or work experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis preferred
• Understands financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows), financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms
• Analytical and problem-solving approach

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of Power BI, Data Analytics, and AI Tools as well as their application
