Work you’ll do
Analysts at Deloitte are expected to help develop strong technical skills in the system/technology area they are working in. As a part of the onboarding process on projects, you are provided with training/awareness aimed at building
proficiency in the role. It involves development of technical and behavioral skills as per defined proficiency levels (as per the Expectation Framework), understanding of the Organization specific tools and methodologies and focused capability building on communication excellence as per Deloitte standards.
Professionals in the technology practice offer both advisory and implementation insights that provide clients with state-of-the-art solutions to help them better manage the critical business of information technology.
- Assist in Delivery of specific capability in Technology space
- Understanding Business requirements and building, testing and providing insights
- Integrating business needs and technology alternatives, including helping develop system requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation
- Support various live applications related to data privacy and security controls
- Support technical/functional/process document creation and maintain an effective
- Support application design and infrastructure building activities
- Responsible for technical specification creation, code development & unit testing, test data creation, test script creation and execution
- Adhere to defined processes and tools while performing day-to-day operations
- Improving operational performance by analyzing our clients’ information technology (IT) controls and processes across security and risk management operations.
- Querying and mining large data sets to discover patterns and assessing through predictive modeling capabilities

General Expectations:
- The candidate will be registered as an Apprentice under the Apprenticeship Act through a tripartite agreement involving the professional, organization and an appropriate government agency
- The selected candidate will be on a 6-months probation from the joining date
- Excellent analytical skills and communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
- Should demonstrate a higher sense of ownership, attention to detail and process adherence
- Ability to chart one’s own career and build networks within the organization
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
- Interact with the Client on regular basis through face-to-face interactions/video conferences/teleconferences/emails to understand the client processes and business problems
- Suggest practical insights and collaborate with the Client to implement the solution
- Manage projects or project modules independently
- Perform account coordination with the clients to build/improve relationship, seek feedback to identify areas of improvement, seek information/ideas/establish relationship with Client to assess any future opportunities for additional business
- Identify the best industry practices and implement in the engagements
- Define project standards, possess knowledge of methodologies, and understanding of process improvement initiatives
- Interact with clients’ functional Subject Matter Experts
- As part of your role at Deloitte and its related entities, you may be required to work in various shift timings, including night shifts, to support client deliverables. This could also involve working beyond standard hours, including weekends, holidays and also from Offshore Delivery Centers (ODC) or Client Location. You may be assigned to projects on different technical platforms and skills, and work at designated locations as determined by the company.
