Job Title: Analyst - Government & Public Services (GPS).

The Team: Finance (Engagement Financial Advisors/ Accounts Receivables/ Financial Planning & Analysis/ Pricing/ Rates Regulatory Accounting/ Quality Management)

The GPS Enabling Areas (GPS EA) practice is a client-driven organization, partnering as trusted business advisors to champion operational excellence. As a member of our Finance team, you will be able to collaborate with members from various departments within our organization. Specific tasks could include supporting government engagements and analyzing financial status, generating client invoices, understanding, and applying government contract and security requirements, data analytics and more. You will learn about unique requirements related to reporting, financial management and operations management while providing professional services to the government.

Work you will do:

As a new joiner in GPS Finance team, you will-

·     Assist project teams in supporting various GPS Enabling Area functions such as:

·     Pricing & Estimation Group- is responsible for supporting the cost and pricing requirements of engagement teams in pursuit of both new business and existing contract pricing.

·     Financial Planning & Analysis- is responsible for managing the GPS practice’s business planning and budgeting process.

·     Rates and Accounting Advisory- is responsible for weekly, periodic, and annual reporting of financials and for maintaining the accuracy of the financial data in the Costpoint general and project ledgers.

·     Engagement Financial Advisor- is responsible for the financial management of contracts throughout the engagement (or Project) lifecycle.

·     Accounts Receivables- is responsible for managing contract investment through unbilled and aging accounts receivable analysis and determines cost recovery based on allowability and billability of costs incurred based on the contract and applicable regulations and statutes.

·     Policy & Compliance- is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing regulatory compliance requirements for the GPS practice.

·     Quality & Risk Management- is responsible in reviewing customer solicitations, analyzing business and legal risk, identifying contractual risks, suggesting risk mitigations, and deploying structured contract management processes for compliance of contractual commitments and deliverables.

·     Shared Services Center- is responsible to support all the above core teams in terms of handling the transactional activities.

You may be assigned to any of these teams. Since there is a wide range of support functions, it will create a scope for teaming and collaborating with other USI GPS Enabling areas practices.

·     Collaborate with key stakeholders and gather business requirements.

·     Identify key drivers of a defined problem and propose solutions.

·     Recognize and resolve issues using analysis, understanding and judgment.


Qualifications Required:

·     Master’s degree MBA or PGDBM (with specialization in Finance, Human Resources, Operations, SCM etc.)

·     No backlogs

·     Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required.

·     Strong interpersonal and relationship skills

·     Ability to work in a virtual team environment.

·     Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe, manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with the desired accuracy.

·     Knowledge of Power BI, data analytics, and AI tools, as well as their applications.

·     Ability to meet deadlines, goals, objectives and satisfy the internal and external customer needs related to the job.

Preferred:

·     Prior work experiences up to 2 years (not mandatory)

·     Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

·     Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

·     Familiarity with the use of Power BI, data analytics, and AI tools is beneficial

·     Strong analytical skills and ability to review with strong attention to detail and analyze complex data independently.

·     Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions.

Timings: 2 PM – 11PM
