L35 - Regional Audit and Assurance Delivery, Senior Analyst
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to get involved in a new team within the RADC in Hyderabad, dedicated to supporting Omnia Data deployment across our global user base. This team will play a key role in supporting the upload and management of data within Omnia Data, Deloitte’s innovative global analytics platform.
Your role will involve transforming, reconciling, and uploading datasets, using your problem-solving skills, and making a tangible impact on global audits. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in the UK, USI, Romania, and South Africa, supporting audit teams from around the world.
We’re looking for proactive and engaged individuals, who are not only passionate about data and technology, but also possess strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. You’ll have the chance to shape how the team interacts with the Omnia Data platform in years to come. The wider team has a clear structure, and you will benefit from comprehensive support from the Global Analytics Support Centre.
As part of the on boarding process, significant training will be provided in the common tasks and applications that are needed to fulfil this role.

Work you will do:
- Being the engagement team’s first point of call when using Analytics platform for troubleshooting or general functionality queries; providing them with assistance and guidance in the use of Analytics platform.
- Providing support for data acquisition and extraction from clients’ accounting systems.
- Carrying out data quality checks which will need to be raised to the Audit practice or client as appropriate.
- Carrying out the data manipulation using tools like excel and upload of the more complex data sets from a variety of finance systems across various business areas and clients into our platform.
- Performing reconciliations to verify the completeness of datasets provided to you. This task will require a degree of problem solving and the ability to understand basic accounting concepts which will be part of the training provided.
- Having a high-level understanding of the system being supported to troubleshoot any issues raised by the Audit practice via the help desk system.
- Degree educated with a 6.5 CGPA or above; preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or Science related.
- Previous experience of working with a structured programming language such as C#, VBA, C++, SQL, Python would be highly beneficial.
- Individuals should be enthusiastic and have evidence of a flair for problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
