Growth and Purpose Office - Deputy Manager – Social Impact

The Social Impact Group (SIG) operates within the Growth and Purpose Office, aiming to integrate and streamline Deloitte's social impact initiatives for enhanced scalability and community impact both nationally and locally. In this position, you will work closely with Deloitte professionals within the SIG, internal stakeholders, NGOs and others for making an impact in the community and driving the culture of “giving back” to the community.
Work you’ll do
Responsible for managing one large office location and supervise one smaller office location and co owing key CSR program
a) Manage, execute and monitor (project management) CSR programs/initiatives (Impact Every day, Deloitte Employee giving, Impact Day etc) at large office locations (Hyd/Bengaluru/Delhi), smaller office locations, for successful implementation.
b) Manage, execute by co owning one key CSR programs/initiatives (Impact Day, Deloitte employee giving, Impact Everyday) for USI
c) Responsible to manage part of the CSR budget for their base office location, and supervise CSR budget spend for smaller office locations, through identifying and presenting projects for CSR funding
d) Identify, evaluate NGOs/projects and manage local NGO chapter relationships at respective office locations
e) Review/assess NGOs/projects and local chapter relationships in smaller office locations
f) Review all NGO projects as per the scope of the project to ensure and confirm overall impact of the project.
g) Review and manage fund flow as per approved project proposals to enable timely disbursement of funds for project implementation; and to make necessary changes to project(s) basis situations, drivers to meet the stated or planned objective(s).
h) Finance management –
• Ensure understanding of accounting principles and internal controls for ease of understanding and operations
• Validate processes, bills/invoices/receipts and utilization certificates (UCs) to confirm overall funding for bigger office location, and other smaller office locations.
• Assess, review, and validate project changes through a FY and ensure changes are implemented as per timelines.
• Work with finance team with various period-end activities related to accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Have an eye for details with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency, support in technology-based enhancements as well as coordination of testing and implementation
i) Supervise employee engagement activities at smaller office location(s)
j) Support Manager to manage key CSR initiatives – end to end support to manage the operations, deliverables, budget, due diligence, closure, report out etc
k) Guidance to city SPOCs (Analyst and SA)
l) Responsible to create a culture of ‘giving back to the community’ to approx. 10,000+ professionals in each office location through various campaigns and volunteering (Impact Everyday, Stepup etc)

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelors and/or Masters; in Social Work
- Existing work experience with social development sector and/or CSR project and finance management with corporates
Work Location: Hyderabad/Mumbai
