Position Summary
Level: Consultant or Analyst
As an experienced Consultant/ Analyst at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
As a member of the team, you will leverage your deep understanding of trade controls and operations for structured products. , You’ll be responsible for maintaining trade accuracy, control discipline, and timely stakeholder updates through a combination of manual reviews and automated/semi-automated checks. You will be supporting client activities from 9 AM EST to 6 PM EST. Your work will broadly include:
· Performing post-trade reviews to validate booked trades and escalate exceptions for resolution
· Supporting multi-level (maker-checker) controls to strengthen quality and reduce operational risk
· Reviewing post-trade amendments to confirm changes align with approved instructions and maintain an auditable trail
· Preparing and validating daily/periodic/regulatory reporting and control metrics to provide visibility into status and exceptions
· Running reconciliations, analyzing breaks, and coordinating follow-ups to drive timely closure
· Executing ongoing monitoring activities that support operational continuity and handoffs

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- years of relevant experience in capital markets / investment banking operations, post-trade support, risk & controls, or consulting/GCC supporting these functions.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle with hands-on experience in post-trade reviews/quality checks, discrepancy investigation, processing corporate actions and exception escalation to drive timely closure.
- Experience supporting structured products / derivatives operations, including ability to interpret key trade economics and validate trade details against supporting documentation.
- Experience working in a controlled environment with maker-checker (multi-level) review discipline and clear documentation of outcomes/exceptions.
- Exposure to post-trade amendments review/validation and ensuring changes align to approved instructions/confirmations.
- Experience preparing and quality-checking daily/periodic/regulatory reporting and operational metrics/MI, with strong attention to data integrity.
- Working knowledge of reconciliations (manual, semi-automated, or automated), break analysis, and exception reporting.
- Strong Excel skills; comfort operating in macro-enabled, deadline-driven processes.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., Front Office, trade support, operations) and provide clear status/escalations.
- Willingness and ability to support client activities from 9 AM EST to 6 PM EST (Americas coverage).
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- · Prior experience supporting post-trade control processes in a time-sensitive environment for Americas.
- · Exposure to structured notes and complex rate products in an operations/control capacity
- · Familiarity with regulatory submissions/reporting (e.g., SEC-related deliverables)
- · Experience with process improvement/automation for control checks and reconciliations
- · CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification.
Education:
- · Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Management or similar fields.
- · Master’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, IT, or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
