Work you will do:
As a Finance Transformation Intern, you will work closely with Deloitte teams to provide consulting services to a diverse range of corporations, including multinational companies across various industry segments such as financial services, energy, manufacturing, and health sciences. You will gain hands-on experience in analyzing, manipulating, and managing data to deliver meaningful insights that help companies address business challenges. You will gain an opportunity to work with advanced technologies and automation tools to design and implement solutions within the finance domain.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solutions.
• Providing extensive range of finance transformation services.
• Execute on data management and analytics engagements to help clients monitor, mitigate, and sustain financial reporting risks.
• Providing strategic advisory services to diverse clients with veritable objectives.
• Providing internal control and compliance services to help clients improve their performance and operating efficiency.
• Applying an understanding of Tier 1 ERP technologies (e.g., SAP and/or Oracle) and facilitating the use of technology-based tools or methodologies.
• Assisting in delivering technology transformations services to clients.
• Querying and analyzing small and large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.
• Creating, managing, and utilizing structured and unstructured data stores.
• Understand current state of the client, rationalize, and optimize to design a future state.
• Assist in the design and development of financial market infrastructure, banking and securities operations transformation, and rules and workflow engines.
• Exposure to implement software/programs that support the implementation of core Finance & Accounting domains like Controllership and Treasury.
• Build workflows to automate finance processes and make them more efficient by leveraging emerging automation or machine learning tools like Alteryx.
The Team
The team is comprised of professionals holding Masters in Business Administration (specialization finance),
Chartered Financial Analysts (‘CFA’) certification, Financial Risk Management (‘FRM’) certification, Chartered Accountants (‘CA’) certification, Certified Public Accountancy (‘CPA’) certification etc. focused on helping the client with Finance & Accounting functions. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and experience to help clients navigate through complex issues. Our team leverages advanced tools and technologies like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI to transform financial processes to provide deeper insights into the client’s financial performance, thus driving better financial management and decision-making.
Qualifications Required:
• MBA/PGDM in Finance specialization
• 0-36 months of previous, full time work experience
Preferred:
• Professional certification such as CFA, FRM, CPA, CA, etc.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and financial management concepts
• Proficiency in querying and analyzing large data sets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in ETL tools/languages such as Alteryx, SQL, Python; and Visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI would be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to dive deeper into industry issues and bring greater insights for our clients.
