As a Zuora Revenue Consultant, you’ll work within an engagement team and be responsible to:
· Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Zuora Revenue solution to meet the revenue recognition needs under appropriate accounting principles (ASC606).
· Ensure that revenue recognition follows the client business scenarios with and aligns with how the billing application sends data so that E2E order to cash cycle is fulfilled.
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, billing and operations, to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective Zuora Revenue configurations.
· Configure and customize the Zuora platform to support complex revenue scenarios while considering billing landscape, revenue grouping and recognition rules (POBs), fair value allocation models, contract amendments etc.
· Manage and maintain the Zuora revenue system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any revenue-related issues or discrepancies, working closely with technical or functional teams as needed.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and Zuora product updates to recommend and implement process improvements.
· Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the Zuora Revenue system.
· Participate in cross-functional projects related to revenue recognition, billing and process optimization.

Professionals will serve our clients through the following types of work:

Qualifications and Experience[MMA3]
Required:
· Should have 3 to 6 years of experience in Zuora Revenue.
· Should be able to translate business problems into solution leveraging the out of the box configuration capabilities of Zuora Revenue as well as ensuring that setups required for revenue at Zuora billing level are upheld.
· Should have strong knowledge of Zuora revenue setups including Order to Revenue (OTR) setup.
· Should be expert in Zuora RC grouping, POB setup, SSP setup, Cost setup, Contract modifications etc.
· Should know how to create upload templates, MJE’s, holds, approvals etc.
· Should know Zuora billing transactions, Products, Accounts etc. get synced to Zuora revenue in order to form revenue contracts.
· Should be an expert in understanding the month end close process from revenue perspective and it’s implications
· Should have general idea about integrations that would be present upstream in order to get transactions synced to Zuora billing and then revenue.
· Should have working knowledge of accounting – ability to understand journal entries that get created at each stage in Zuora revenue.
· Should know how to set up roles and permissions in Zuora one ID for revenue and billing.
· Should know Zuora Revenue reporting/data query module
· Should be able to provide technical expertise in integrating Zuora revenue with downstream applications such as GL
· Should be able to train other resources in Zuora Revenue
Preferred:[MMA4]
· Salesforce basic knowledge/experience is preferable.
· CPQ experience is preferable.
· Zuora Billing experience is preferable.
· Should we aware of Zuora object model.
· Zuora order metrices is preferable.
· ERP systems experience is preferable.
· Experience with solution implementation in the areas of order-to-cash, finance, accounting is preferable.
