The Team

Regulatory & Legal Support

We help organizations in their efforts to achieve regulatory and legal compliance and transform their departments to add greater value to the business. We combine highly specialized skills in discovery and data management, corporate investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and anti-fraud with financial acumen and advanced analytics to produce transformative insights.

The regulatory landscape continues to increase in complexity across the globe. Our Regulatory & Legal Support team leverages deep knowledge of industry-specific regulations with demonstrated methodologies to design, assess, and transform the processes, controls, and infrastructure needed to mitigate risk and achieve compliance.

Our capabilities include designing the target operating model, assessing policies and procedures, testing and monitoring on a managed services and project basis, assessing risk, reporting, and communicating, as well as building the analytics and reporting structures to allow for ongoing measurement and monitoring. We use proprietary tools, technologies and accelerators to allow clients a more proactive approach to managing risk and achieving regulatory compliance. We design comprehensive compliance programs and advise clients on how to effectively navigate a regulatory investigation or inquiry.


Work you’ll do

The key job responsibilities will be to:

·       Supporting implementation of large and complex regulatory initiatives such as Basel IV, CCAR, FRTB, CECL and Libor transition including drafting of position papers, business and functional requirements, test plans and user guides

·       Performing capital and liquidity assessments including providing support to capital optimization programs

·       Validating capital plans, resolution plans and QIS submissions

·       Conducting credit reviews and analysis across various retail/wholesale portfolios, including providing support for M&A due diligence and third-party purchases

·       Driving data management initiatives including setting up and monitoring of data quality and governance programs

·       Hands on experience in developing risk registers, conducting RCSAs, defining KRIs for risk management and control indicators, Risk Scenario Library & Analysis

·       Establishing/reviewing processes, controls and technology infrastructure required for production/attestation of regulatory reports such as FR-Y14A/Q/M, FR-Y9C, FFIEC 101, COREP, FINREP, FR2052a, LCR, NSFR etc.

·       Strong understanding of risk regulatory framework of one more of the major economies across globe (i.e. US, EU, etc.). Knowledge of Basel II/ III principles and practice, Dodd Frank, ICAAP, MIFID II, IFRS9, PSD2 etc.

·       Implementing and testing of various capital management, data governance and reporting platforms such as OFSAA, Collibra, AXIOM, etc.

·       Establishing and managing program management office to support large change management initiatives

·       AML & KYC Optimizations, Fraud and Regulatory Compliance with focus on Fraud Risk Management, Compliance Analytics, Enterprise Risk Management, Data Analysis & Aggregation, Trade Surveillance, Robotic Process Automation

·       Supporting pursuits and market facing eminence efforts

·       Engaging in stakeholder management and problem solving that would require strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Risk Platforms: SunGard, Murex, Calypso, OpenPages, PEGA, JIRA etc.

Required skills

·       4-8 years of experience in any/all the above areas is preferred:

o    Working for financial services consulting firm, a large bank, or broker-dealer

o    Working for the U.S. or International Banking or Capital Markets Regulator (e.g. SEC,CFTC, EBA, FCA etc.)

·       Supporting pursuits and market facing eminence efforts

·       Engaging in stakeholder management and problem solving that would require strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Exposure to working in globally distributed workforce environment including onshore and offshore

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills Need to be Updated

·       FRM and/or CFA certification

·       PMP certification

Qualification Need to be Updated

·         Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Chartered Accountant (CA)
