Job Description: Service Now Developer
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for development, core configuration, and technical expertise of Deloitte’s ServiceNow implementation. You have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to provide excellent customer service, training and support. Candidates must be passionate about technology, love customer service and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a full-time position based out of our Hyderabad office.
Work you’ll do
As a ServiceNow Developer you will support the EDSC Advisory Team in developing workflows for Legal services
- Translating functional specifications into logical, competent-based technical designs. Designs and develops new ServiceNow workflows and processes.
- Develop IT Service Management solutions using products such as ServiceNow by customizing the product using technologies Javascript, Jelly, web services including MYSQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- Development of custom Service portal pages/widgets to support the Business Organization
- Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed.
- Assists ServiceNow junior developers in developing/customizing applications on ServiceNow platform
- Conduct code walkthrough, code review of junior team members' code.
- Comply with ServiceNow best practices to maintain system compliance.
- Creates comprehensive and well-structured test plans and suites. Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates testing activities.
- Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects. Performs thorough regression testing of resolved defects.
- Participating in User Access Test (UAT) to collect feedback from UAT Team, ITIL Process owners, Clients and fine-tune the solution.
- Manages Update Set creation and migration to Test and Production environments.Leads ServiceNow maintenance, upgrade planning and administration.
- Vendor coordination for ServiceNow product defects.
Qualifications
Required:
§ Bachelor of Science with a concentration in computer science, information systems, information security, math, decision sciences, risk management, engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or other business/technology disciplines or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow Development
§ Proven experience on ServiceNow ITSM suite.
§ Proven ability to configure ServiceNow using Utilize Business Rules, Client Scripts, advanced UI Policies, Workflow editor , ACLs and Script Includes and UI Scripts to fulfill requirements, including knowledge of and experience with JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.
§ Proven experience in integration of ServiceNow with other IT applications.
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good team player.
§ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
§ Certified Implementation Specialist certification
§ Certified Application Developer
- Proven experience on ServiceNow ITSM suite.

Preferred:
