In 2008, Deloitte Advisory LLP opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. Deloitte Advisory’s E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Advisory’s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte Advisory’s Discovery practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
This is a full time position in the Deloitte Advisory Discovery Software Engineering team that focuses on the execution and development of various software development projects. This is a hands-on technical role that will help design and implement application solutions in a very collaborative, team-oriented manner, following the Scrum development process.
The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Hyderabad, India.
Job Responsibilities
§ Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
§ Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
§ Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
§ Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
§ Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
§ Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
§ Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
§ Adhere to prescribed standards, procedures, and development methodologies.
§ Collaborate with QA professionals to encourage defect prevention over detection.
Skills and Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree required. Information systems or computer science type degrees preferred.
· 4-6 Years of experience in data management, processing and analyzing transactional & historical data with competency in a variety of analytics tools and programming languages such as, but not limited to:
o Traditional DBs: SQL Server
o Programming: T-SQL
o o ETL: SSIS
o o Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, QlikView or a similar visualization tool.
· Good knowledge in data modelling, data quality, and data profiling is a must
· Experience utilizing Dynamic SQL.
· Demonstrate problem solving and proven troubleshooting skills
· Basic understanding of design/develop web application using ASP.NET technologies.
· Experience in building data analytics solutions on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure is a plus
