Commodity Trading & Risk Management Practice

Our Commodity Trading & Risk Management advisory practice solves our clients’ most complex issues and helps drive transformative changes to their supply, trading, and marketing organizations. We support our clients with advice related to physical and financial commodity market challenges through commercial & risk advisory, quantitative analysis, technology and operational advisory services.
Specifically, our service offerings address the operations, compliance, and risk management challenges prevalent across the commodities value chain. These services are organized into three capability areas - Strategic Services, Compliance, Risk & Operational Services, and Technology Services:
* Strategic Services help clients define fit-for-purpose operating models for their commodities, define the changes required to realize that vision, and develop a roadmap for execution
* Compliance, Risk & Operational Services assess the existing compliance, risk, and operational processes of our clients leveraging proprietary tools to yield insights for improvement or optimization
* Technology Services deliver custom and package technology solutions that help our clients manage their commodity business and associated risk & compliance exposures.
Work you’ll do
· A Senior Consultant will perform as an individual contributor on client engagement teams, working under the supervision of an Engagement Director and/or Partner.
· He/ She is required to develop work product, lead specific project initiatives in the firm.
· A Sr. Con is required to lead the teams with advising clients on strategy development, process optimization and technology transformation journey.
· Act as a CTRM subject matter expert on consulting projects.

Required skills
Functional Requirements -
* Familiarity with Front Office, Back Office, Positions Reporting, Mark to Market, Credit Risk, Dispatching and Settlement, Invoicing.
* Knowhow of interfaces associated with Allegro and their functioning within the ecosystem.
* Exposure to tools like Endur, Allegro, RA etc.
* Understanding of deal pricing, price curves and corresponding pricing activities along with GDM.
* Understand End of day and End of Month processes for the month close.
* Familiarity with Risk Management module. Understand hedging strategies and managed or supported Hedge/offset deals.
* Understanding of the Oil and Gas business, familiar with upstream, midstream and downstream function lines with focus on refinery and marketing processes for Oil to Chemical value chain
* Understanding of the Deal Lifecycle and the business processes associated with them.
Technical Requirements -
* Good skills on SQL and .Net
* Have worked on or previously supported integration between various applications using.net class dll and WCF services.
* Have worked on upgrades, extension and custom objects for CTRM tools (such as Allegro, RA, Endur/Findur etc.)
Preferred skills
* Worked on Agile methodologies
* Worked on Process assessment and optimization
* Worked on automation of processes
* Have worked on automation tools such as UI Path.

Qualification
* BE / BTech/ Graduation
* MBA or related PG preferred
