Deloitte Advisory LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.
In 2008, Deloitte Advisory LLP opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for EDSC work. Deloitte Advisory’s EDSC continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte Advisory’s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte Advisory’s Discovery practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
This is a full-time position in the Deloitte Advisory Discovery Software Engineering team that focuses on the execution and development of various software development projects. This is a hands-on technical role that will help design and implement application solutions in a very collaborative, team-oriented manner, following the Scrum development process.
The EDSC is a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Hyderabad, India.
Work you’ll do:
The key job responsibilities will be to:
- Successful candidate will have a data analytic mind set, and ability to find issues or anomalies in large sets of data via queries and sampling
- Perform Project audits and Data Validation for new quality control steps.
- Perform Quality Checks on Client Deliverables by following the Specifications, Process and Procedures.
- Use and critical thinking to identify and develop process improvement opportunities
- Develop basic SQL scripts and execute prewritten SQL scripts based on the requirements.
- Execute internally developed tools.
- Test 3rd party tools and tactical tools.
- Monitor and create test plans on implementation/adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment and escalate when challenges are encountered that alter the work plan.
- High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Skills in creating and presenting; minimal formal delivery; good writing and verbal communication skills; logical organization of information.
Required skills:
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience.
- Prior eDiscovery experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus. (i.e. Concordance, Relativity, Introspect, eCapture and Nuix)
- Scripting experience is a plus. (SQL, PERL, Python & PowerShell)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required with preferred knowledge of analysis tools such as advanced Excel, Access along with SQL.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently
- A polished and sophisticated presence which is effective at in-person client meetings.
- Ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple projects under time sensitive deadlines
- Handle business matters with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a “White glove” approach to service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred skills:
