Business Technology Analyst (BTA) – iHub (NSE) - Alteryx

Work you’ll do

We are looking for innovative tax technology professionals that are looking to broaden their careers by learning data analytics, data sciencet. On a daily basis, you will work with experienced engineering, science and technology experts, leveraging your technical background to engage senior client stakeholders working on some of the most exciting innovation projects across all areas of science and technology. Your role will entail working with business teams to gather requirements and build Alteryx workflows and datasets for BI reporting. Your work will play a pivotal role in helping our clients determine which aspects of their projects qualify for the various incentives available to them and develop quality documents to be submitted in support of their claims.

Key responsibilities -

ü  Create workflows in Alteryx to meet business needs independently. Translate business logic from other systems, like Excel or SQL, into Alteryx

ü  Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets for BI reporting tools/dashboards

ü  Write complex SQL queries to automate and manipulate data

ü  Perform end-to-end data validation to ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot and offer solutions to problems

ü  Collaborate with multi-disciplinary business teams to understand requirements and source data as well as generating high quality documentation

ü  Create processes that can be standardized and used across multiple instances

ü  Supporting the project team in developing/ maintaining good working relationships with key client and internal stakeholders and keep them informed of challenges/ risks/ issues

ü  Providing regular updates to the project team on how the project is running against projected scope, timeframes and budget etc.

ü  Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

Qualification and Experience Required –

ü  MBA, Engineering, or any other bachelor’s degree from reputed University

ü  0 - 2 years of Experience in Alteryx, Tableau etc.

ü  Fundamentals of MS Excel (Should be able to navigate through huge data in workbooks)

ü  Good understanding of SQL knowledge including (Join, querying and other SQL database concepts)

ü  Familiarity with any programming language and should be able to write pseudo codes and formulas as per business logic

ü  Excellent IT skills with the strong desire to learn new skills and technology

ü  Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple large and complex projects, handling conflicting demands for yourself and team-members in a timely manner

ü  Excellent communicator, with good interpersonal awareness skills

ü  Good team player with ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy in work and attention to detail

Preferred –

ü  2 years of experience in Alteryx and has demonstrated automating processes and provide actionable insights for business

ü  Alteryx core certification

ü  Familiarity with VBA language
