Senior Consultant – NSE Tax ERP – SAP ABAP

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. Work you’ll do

Increasingly complex tax decisions can have a significant effect—positive or negative—on the future of our clients’ business. Our approach combines insight and innovation from multiple disciplines with business and industry knowledge to help our clients excel globally.

Key responsibilities -

·       Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP.

·       CDS view development including AMDP table functions and virtual elements.

·       Develop SEGW and CDS view based OData services.

·       SAPUI5, Fiori, Business Technology Platform, either BAS or Web IDE.

·       ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

·       ABAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

·       Ability to learn and customize out of the box applications to fit business needs.

·       Proficient in working with BAPI’s, BADI’s, RFCs, IDOCs, User Exits, Enhancement points, and the Enhancement Framework.

·       Managing Major and Minor changes and enhancements efficiently as per the business requirement.

·      

Qualification and Experience Required –

·       Over 6+ years of experience with ABAP with CPI and BTP/DataSphere related to SAP FI, SD and MM modules.

·       Team handling experience.

·       Good experience in the configuration, defect management, testing, documentation, and end-user support phase of the project cycle.

·       SAP Basis consultancy and Release Management skills to help maintain our system landscape are highly appreciated.

·       Proficient with enhancements and modifications of the existing functions.

·       Experience of SAP Functional specification document for tax enhancements, and configuration document.

·       Experience of creating and preparing demos and ad-hoc slides for a range of audiences at clients.

·       Strong analytical and communication skills.

·       Experience in all phases of development, including design, build, test and support.

Preferred –

·       Strong knowledge of ABAP, CPI, BTP/DataSphere.

·       Advanced knowledge of best practices and standards for software development.

·       Advanced performance tuning for CDS views and ABAP.

·       Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
