Position Summary

Tech Architect, Manager

As a Tech Architect, you will be involved in software development, architecture design, and a deep understanding of modern technologies and frameworks. This role will involve leading the design and implementation of complex systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and global leadership, you will ensure that the team’s efforts enhance business capabilities and drive forward the strategic goals of the business. Your leadership will be key in advancing the technology landscape to support the evolving needs of the global marketplace.

Work you’ll do

  • Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise-level applications using C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core, and Microservices.
  • Design, implement, and integrate scalable Microservices architecture, ensuring best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams spanning different role types and own end to end delivery, fostering a positive team culture and owning end-to-end delivery.
  • Drive innovative thinking and identify opportunities for process improvements and new methodologies
  • Address challenges and implement security measures, including data consistency, distributed transactions, authentication, and authorization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices, including Cloud Agnostic Design patterns, Domain Driven Design, and Event Driven Architecture.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications, optimizing for cost and implementing Security and Compliance measures (Application & Data Security).
  • Mentor and guide development teams in implementing architectural solutions, including Test Driven Development patterns and Monitoring Driven Development patterns.
  • Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices to streamline the development and deployment processes, incorporating Availability and Reliability as Code (IAC, CI/CD, Database as Code, etc.).
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, considering Business Continuity requirements (High Availability, Fault Tolerance).
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance.
  • Implement Site Reliability Engineering practices, including Self-Healing mechanisms.
  • Design and develop Micro-frontend UI/UX solutions to enhance user experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
  • 9+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .Net Framework.
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience with .Net Core and modern web technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, particularly Angular.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

  • Certification in AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
